1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hunt'n Buddy ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Hunt'n Buddy is a hunting companion application providing interactive maps, AI-powered scouting and chat features (Buddy AI, Scout Buddy), property owner lookup, solunar timing, weather data, harvest logging, and related content. Some features require a Pro subscription.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it as needed.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Hunt'n Buddy Pro is available in monthly and annual plans. The applicable price, currency, billing period, and offer conditions are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal. For App Store purchases, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period.

Web payments are processed by our payment provider; mobile payments are processed by the app store used for purchase, with subscriptions managed through our subscription service provider. Cancel through the store account used for purchase or the web billing portal. Deleting your Hunt'n Buddy account does not cancel a subscription. Request mobile purchase refunds from the app store used for purchase under its policies; contact support for web billing questions. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

The iOS app is licensed under the Standard End-User License Agreement (EULA).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose, including trespassing or poaching
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App to transmit malware, spam, or unauthorized advertising
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or stress-test the App's services
• Circumvent subscription checks or Pro feature gates

6. AI Features — Limitations and Disclaimer

Buddy AI and Scout Buddy provide general hunting guidance generated by AI. This information is for educational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional wildlife management advice, legal guidance, or official hunting regulations.

Always verify hunting regulations with your state or local wildlife agency. AI-generated guidance may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI responses.

7. Property Lookup — Disclaimer

Hunt'n Buddy is an outdoor guide, not a source of legal advice or hunting authorization. Property owner and boundary data is sourced from third-party providers and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. It is for general reference, not legal purposes, and does not establish ownership, legal boundaries, or permission to enter or hunt. Verify access and applicable state and federal requirements with the relevant authorities. Always obtain explicit landowner permission before entering private property.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, map overlays, and AI prompts — are the property of Hunt'n Buddy or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.

Content you create in the App (hunt logs, saved locations, notes) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and transmit it solely to provide the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Map data, property records, weather, and solunar data are provided by third parties and may be inaccurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hunt'n Buddy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to damages for lost profits, data loss, personal injury, property damage, or trespass incidents.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
